Job Description:
ITT Space Systems Division (SSD, located in Ft. Wayne (IN), Clifton (NJ), Rochester (NY), and Vienna (VA), are seeking recent graduates for its two-year Rotational Program. Candidates for this position must be available to start in May/June of the current year.
This program is a two-year, cross-site, entry-level program providing candidates with formal training and rotations within the following areas:
Engineering: Design and execute procedures, processes, and tool sets associated with all aspects of the individual's degree expertise, as well as elements of other engineering departmental activities.
Operations: Develop and implement processes, equipment, and capabilities in Manufacturing/Test Engineering, Production Control, Quality Systems, Manufacturing, Integration and Test. Perform supervisory skills through project team experiences.
Supply Chain: Learn processes and systems associated with material acquisition, including Material & Inventory Control, Procurement, and Subcontract management.
Mission Success & Project Engineering: Ensure the success & heritage of ITT's continual commitment to flawless execution through Product Assurance and Quality control. Employ cost, schedule and technical assessments in order to maintain product integrity and meet program milestones.
Program Management: Utilize processes and systems associated with all aspects of managing a Program including Customer Interface, Bid & Proposals, Cost & Schedule Control, Risk Management, and Contract Implementation.
Value-Based Six Sigma (VBSS): Utilize processes and systems associated with all aspects of the Value-Based Six Sigma and Lean Program including Green Belt Certification. Successfully lead a VBSS project team, and participate in a Lean Kaizen event.
Experience Requirements:
Education: B.S. degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, of other comparable Technical Degree. Confirmable demonstration of academic excellence in coursework required.
Experience: Previous Co-op or internship experience in a technical environment encompassing any of the functional disciplines listed above and demonstrated leadership experience is desirable.
Qualities desired: Passion for technology, strong problem solving skills, self-motivated, leadership attributes, geographic flexibility, and being successful in a team environment. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
