New GrouperEye.com Set To Launch In Mid-September!

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

We have been working hard on our product (website) over the past couple of weeks. We have nailed down the product plan and about two weeks ago, we began the design/development phase.

I am extremely excited to share this with companies, students, and universities. I know the site has looked a little empty and sparse over the past couple weeks and I appreciate your patience as we create a revolution in college recruiting.

We should have a handful of designs ready for next week and I will post them on the site. Get excited!

Nate Andorsky Takes Home The Grouptable.com Case Competition!

Monday, May 18th, 2009

Dave Brimmer, founder of Grouptable.com loved all the submissions. It was a tough call for Dave, but end the end, he went with Nate Andorsky’s case competition submission. Nate is a rising senior at George Washington University.

Breif excerpt from Nate’s submission: “Where do group projects stem from? The classroom. So where would students realize a need for this project? The classroom. So where should this project be endorsed? The classroom. And who would be the best authority figure to endorse it? The professors.”

Nate’s strategy of “pain point targeting” and professor marketing ideas won the case!

Congratulations Nate! Check out the scoreboard.

Lauren Russell Wins GrouperEye Case Competition!

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

Lauren Russell, a student at Howard University, won the GrouperEye Case Competition! The ideas are amazing and the PowerPoint itself is incredibly well designed. The ideas we believe are awesome include: product/job showcase for employers, quizzes, edgy profile creation, merchandising, and opt-in company information following. The GrouperEye team really loved not only the ideas, but the logic behind which Lauren thought about the job/internship search process. Congratulations Lauren and I look forward to lunch!
